The Assistant provides administrative support to the insurance agents and the agency. This includes scheduling appointments, managing and attending agency appointments, events and seminars. The Insurance assistant must be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to contacts from withing the agency and clients. Perform confirmation, follow up phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
Schedule appointments and keep the agency and agents calendar up-to-date.
Process forms of insurance proof.
Co-manage administrative access to agency programs and systems.
Provide customer service to clients, both in person and over the phone.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
